Chin straps... Only if your helmet is in the habit of climbing up your face during a run... Dave uses one specifically for that purpose... To make it a 'rule or mandatory'... Nah... Drivers can make that determination if one is needed..
Front brakes??.. Cars have been running in excess of 180/185 since the gitgo.. no problems.. Again, if your using 'drum brakes'.. Yes..and two chutes too.. Just about all braking systems (Disc type) will stop a car without any problems, unless the driver does something stupid, in which case, 8 wheel brakes wouldn't stop it in time either... Just sayin'..

I have a diamondback helmet so that hasn't been a problem yet, but had the chin anchor installed when I bought it just in case.
That was I was thinking as well. We have brand new(before this season) Wilwood disk brakes on. Also have a good size chute.
Thanks for the input!!!

I use a chin strap too. It's more comfortable. I don't have to think about it with a strap.
Joel, I'd love one like Dave's. I saw it at chrr. Mines a Simpson. I like dj's solution better
