Also running with the Ford event at Fontana this weekend there will be a Super Stock / Stock eliminator race going on this weekend as well . Come on out !

Had a great time at California Dragway this weekend . Hot and Santa Ana windy conditions there . Lots of great cars and friendly Fun Ford Weekend staff from Louisiana , they put on a really fun event! Found myself in the final round again in the Quick Ford class and had fellow ANRA racer Dwayne Eastridge in the other lane - we've beat each other up pretty good over the last few years and I consider him a friend and looked forward to racing him in the final ;D . My car launched hard , had an .030 light and ran almost dead on my 11.20 dial with an 11.202! Check this out - my win light didn't come on  - Dwayne thru down an .011 light and ran a 10.72 on his 10.71 dial . Wow - it was so close ...and my best package of the day wasn't good enough to get by him . Great job Dwayne ! ( ouch!) |
