We will be going out to LACR again this Saturday for some more TNT. Last Saturday was tough with the wind and such. I could not get my car to launch strait and it wanted to lift the front wheels off of the ground at 1/2 track. I think I might need some weight on the front end ! We will see this Saturday.

Snarlin, I looked at the pic of yer car. I agree, lots-o-weight on the front end. My car is 175 inches BBC, with a bigger battery, radiator, and the fuel tank is way out front, and 65 lbs mounted in front of the front axle. It'll still carry the front end for 20 feet. It looks like you run like I do a shorty glide w/ coupler. the engine is set real close to the rear end. Try 60 lbs or so and adjust as needed. Good Luck. D.J.

Thanks. I have been trying to find some of the history on this car. I purchased the car in Michigan and I was told that this car had a history and was drivin by a guy named Bill Wigginton (div 4) from 70 - 73 as a top fueler. Bill Wigginton then went on to drive for Candies & Hughes & the Howard`s Charger. Maybe someone on this web site could help me find out who the chassis builder is and some more history on my car ;D .
