27 Ford Roadster-Comp, S/C, S/G, NE2, NE3
For sale is a 1927 Ford roadster. There are countless hours of custom fiberglass work in the body. The chassis is a 122 inch wheel base, double rail tube chassis made from .134 mild steel. The chassis cert is good through February 2017. Currently a BBC and a 'glide are in the car; however, it's set up for either a BBC or a SBC and a Powerglide. The chassis was originally built to run a blown big block, so needless to say it's strong.
The front end is a torsion bar set up with Strange spindles and a Corvair steering box.
The rear end is a fully braced 9" with 31 spline billet axles, drum brakes, 4.56 gears, and a spool. It's located with a 4 link (1 1/4" bars) with track locator, Morrison shocks, 60" wheelie bars.
The front and back wheels are Centerlines. Hoosier tires (3x15 front, 12x15 rear wheel, 15x31 tire).
It has a Jaz fuel cell and Mallory electrical fuel pump.
RJS 5-point belts and a Diest chute.
Engine: 427 +.060 over, 12.5 to 1 compression, ported/polished heads.
Trans: S&W 'glide, w/ .04 brake and a SMI convertor.
