I'll be there Friday afternoon with Dan "Double Trouble"Reaume and his '64 ranchero along with my '65 Ranchero . Plan on being there the whole weekend - According to all the weathermen I've checked with it should be beautiful racing weather ;D See you all up there! Happy New Year !!!

was there on Saturday... car wasn't running right , very disapointing with new cam in car . Went home tore it apart today and found the dowel pin in the cam gear had broken - got lucky and it just retarded the cam about 20 degrees ! Can't imagine why it didn't run good I used one of those bushing kits when dergreeing the cam that has an undersize end on the dowel that the offset bushing gets installed on . It broke right at the step on the dowel , some how it did not come all the way out of the cam thank God. Gonna buy one of those nine way positionable timing sets - didn't like the look of that dowel when I installed it ...live and learn huh?

JR and I went to the Hangover today. There were quite a few cars + funny cars , Jet dragsters. One jet wenr 4.73 at 334mph. New record for both ET and Top speed.George Doty had his "Crazy Horse" NTF out but kind of having problems with it. Marc Roy also had his "Predator" NTF car out also. Kind of a fun day. Bernie says the track isn't gonna go By By anytime soon.

To follow up with what Moseley said, we had breakfast with George Doty, Eddie Flourney, Gary Reed and gang (thanks for breakfast George!)...then I got to hang out with Butch, Josh and Dick and got to talk to some good people at the track. I even got to ride along with the crew on the California Smoker jet dragster when they set the track record...that was a blast! (pun intended). Well.....bring on 2007!!!!
