And the Barona 1/8th Mile Dragstrip
Are pleased to announce the 2nd annual "Night of Nostalgia" and Fox Hunt which will be held at the Barona Dragstrip on September 8th 2007. Free admission for all female spectators. Go to the track website at www.baronadragstrip.com for spectator gate opening times and information.

Winners purse is $1200 + plus a "WALLY" with a runner up purse of $700..Additional payouts will depend on the total number of cars that enter. This is a 16 car qualified field and will run on a 4.85 index. A $100 per car entry fee paid to NERA at the track All NERA race participants will be compted car/driver plus a crew of 3 people. Any additional crew personnel must pay at the gate. No charge for overnight parking, compliments of the Barona Drag Strip.

First round of qualifying starts at 4pm. Second round at 5:30pm. First round of eliminations start at 7pm. Please contact Joel at [e-mail] or phone [phone] if you plan to attend. I'll need to notify the gate of the NERA competitors in order for you to take advantage of the free entry.

are these mostly altereds ? if they are, i'll go as a spectator as my flathead bantam couldn't go that fast pushed out of an airplane at 30,000 feet.

The cars that run in NERA are primarily NE 1..another words, Front Engine, Centered steered, blown or injected, Maybe a Carb or two, Altereds, Dragsters, Funny Cars, Modified Roadsters and AA/C Coupes..
