all good ddttmm2. I understand your feelings as I questioned the use of Pro Mod style of bodies in the A/Gas class and was told 'what difference does it make." Fortunately most run a stock body or with limited body modifications to look like it was intended to be.

Straight from the Heritage Rule Book for Gasser Eliminators:

BODY
Full-bodied vehicles: Must have full top and windshield. All full-bodied cars must have two driver exits. Four stock-production fenders mandatory, fiberglass duplicatespermitted. Fenders may be trimmed for tire clearance; altered fenders must haveedges re-rolled or beaded.

They should eliminate the third line as it does seemed to be enforced. But that horse has left the barn.

FYI, the only things I use in my NE III Corvette is a manual throttle stop and a (legal) 2-step to control launch rpm. and I even shift my car manually. The throttle stop is set and stays set from start to finish line. No electronic changes down track. If fact when I do run Super Gas I don't use any electronics then either and run 9.90 at only 134-135 mph. It drives those electronic 160+ mph guys nuts. ^_^. I don't use a computer to analyze runs or have a fancy weather station ( I just use density altitude ) but I do have a playback tach to see launch rpm and shift point rpm after a run. I do pay close attention to the incremental times on the time slip. If you want come by sometime and I'll freely explain how I run my program. Ed
