i was just thinking about a race i went to in 1976, i beleive in tuscon when they ran the fuel altered nationals. if i remember right, dave hough (nanook) organized a bracket altered event to run with them during the down time. for an altered nut like me it was heaven. i don't know if it would be profitable, but there are alot of bracket altereds out there. all you have to see is the 30 or more at anra events to see that. there could be a purse of 2-5,000 bucks or whatever and i think it would be a big event. i have no idea about the logistics of putting on an event like this but i sure would go. if my flathead couldn't run, because it's so slow, i would go anyway because of the furel altereds and all the bracket altereds that would so up. just a thought.
