Despite the rumors of an impending cancellation of the Heritage Series at Fontana, it is NOT TRUE...The race scheduled for April 18th - 20th is still ON...The only change is there will not be any Top Fuel or Nitro Funny Cars.
This is the latest as of today...Fontana is a go for all other classes.. ;D ;D ;D

I was wondering how they were going to pull that one off - Are they going to add a couple more events for the top fuel guys?

Why no Pomona for this series? I know that track is heavily restricted, but couldn't they have squeeked out another weekend of racing there?

If the NHRA can't put on a race at Pomona, it isn't because of money. What is the entry fees and payouts for the Heritage Series events?

I've heard it's anoise issue . The city of Pomona allows the track to have a certain number of "noisy days" . The Winternats and world finals take that up...That's why no more Super Chevy there . I wonder how many citizens of Pomona have lived there since before there was a drg strip there?

Planes coming and going all day, everyday are OK, but some racing on a few weekends is too much for a few cranky a-holes....

What is the entry fees and payouts for the Heritage Series events? Great Question! What are the payouts? I'd do it for braging rites, Fuel to and from the track, and $500. D.J.
