CONGRADULATIONS to Kim for running the car. Now she knows what us guys know about how much fun it is to drive. Well I have to appolagize for not making the race sat, as I was in B-Field fri, sat, and sun with JENNIFER LUNA and RICK ROGERS of "HAMMERHEAD RACING". I took my dragster up for Jen to get her S/C license, and test the new motor. Jen did a great job of driving, for someone who had never even driven down a dragstrip before, let alone an 8 sec. dragster. She made 7 passes in two days. She had to drive through a centerline to guardrail run, peddling the car, then she made 2 very nice 9.70 passes for the license. We're all very proud of her. Also, THANKS to JOEL and DAVID GRUZEN for the driving suit. I made 3 runs fri, and 2 on sun, running a best of 8.36 / 162. We still have a lot of tuning, but looks like we mite get a high 7 out of it. Sorry again BUTCH for not being there. But you already know why. Newt out
