Got this from Scott lets get behind them anyway we can.
THE FINAL COMMENT AND VOTE SESSIONS ARE SCHEDULED!!
If you're on the Riverside MP E-mail list you should already of received this info, but I'm going to reitterate some points quickly here.
This facility will ADD to or should I say compliment the race tracks still running here in the Valley. This facilty, as is Famoso, will be virtually untouchable to those in the housing developement arena for years to come. Therefore as tracks (circle and drag) are succumbing to population fate, Riverside, in its engineering and design, will be virtually unpenetrable to those who wish to pregnant dog.
On to the important stuff, I realize alot of you will probably have to be there in spirit, BUT I'm here to stress the point that we need, and must have, every available breathing racer and race fan (NO MATTER THE AGE!) to be at one of the Nov. 14th FINAL comment sessions. One will be held from 9am-12pm in the Merced County Board of Supervisors hall, and the 6pm-9pm session will be held out at the Merced County fairgrounds Pavilion hall (this is expected to be largest crowd). The other dates, Oct 4, and Oct 25 are crucial to an extent, if you live in and around the Merced/Athingyer area, or if your like me are willing to take a few hours from work feel free to come show your support. "Cause the opposition WILL be there ( Hell, they don't work so it's easy for them to fit into their whiner's schedule).
Riverside Motorsports park is the shot in the arm this Valley, and for that matter, California needs to get back to our racing roots and traditions. You've all been sitting on the edge of the fence a long time on this project and myself and others at Riverside can never say THANK YOU enough for hanging in there. So let's load up the Nitro, grab some gear and we'll all be able to party at the end of this long, crazy trip.
Almost forgot, there will be a "Racers Night" on Oct.19th ( place and time yet to be announced) to gear up and set down the ground rules for the Nov. 14th session. Basically we KNOW from past experience the opposition WILL create distractions and be provocational. THAT IS WHAT WE DO NOT WANT TO BE. Let them bury themselves.
Keep tabs on the RMPracing.com website for daily/weekly updates.
And seriously burn those dates in your calendars.
This is our last chance to put up or shut up.
Thanks to all,
