We took Josh's Jr dragster to Redding to a Div 7 race and had a ball. Redding's race track is a true throw back to the 70's and the people are great. I was asked if we would be interested in putting on a race there. I know that it is a long haul for So Cal racers and with the cost of fuel I can't expect many to make the trip but I think that we could get some racers from the north to come race.
What do you think of a North / South shoot out if we could get a track in the valley 
What do you guys think?

I would make the trip, but hopefully it's in the cooler time of year. That valley gets pretty hot!!

Hello all, I used to visit here as Ambush racing, been preoccupied for a while. My name is Joel, and I'm the current manager at the Redding Dragstrip. I met Butch at the Jr. race a couple of weeks ago, great guy! Myself, and the board of directors would love to see you guys come up, we'll do our best to make you feel at home. I'm seriously considering making it to your finals race in November, going down to see an old friend in Vegas around then. Butch knows how to reach me if you folks are interested in coming up. Let's do it!
