Hello to all of you.
My name is Michael and I live in Tehachapi I am starting to build a FED and thought I would join here since it seems that there is alot of friendly people sahring info on this forum. I will post pics of my ride when i actually start welding it together. Hope to meet some of you at the April 5th race.

Welcome Mike,
I am also hoping to get started on a new FED very soon. What is your plan for your new car? NE classes? What engine/trans combo?

Hello Max
Thanks for the invite I will defintly stop by.
I was given a 65 Mustang Convertable when my grandfather died. It needs a complete rebuild so while i am waiting for the my son to get older (want to rebuild the car with my son) I will use the 289 from that car and hook it up to a 2spd Powerglide. This will be my first drag car so I am really just looking to go down the track and slowly get the car faster and faster but first things first. I have a copy of the Mark Williams FED blueprints so i will build the dragster to those specs. I have seen some really nice FEDs on the HAMB. I am a welder/fabricator by trade so i am very excited about building my own car. Anyway i look forward to meeting you next weekend. Take Care.

You are doing it the right way.. Build it with what you have. Then upgrade as you go along.. You will have a ball with the ANRA group.....

Hey Mike. Gill Valincia has a NE1 car and lives in Teachapi. He is a good fabricator. You might want to talk with him as he could help out with just about everything.

I found Gills phone number and called him up today.
Thanks Mike for telling me aobut Gill. He is one hell of a nice guy. He has invited me over on Firday to check out his car and the info he provided me on the phone was fantastic.
