I would like to personally thank every racer, crew member and fan that showed up Saturday. The weather and track conditions were iffy, but you guys stuck with us and made a go of it. It was a long day for me, but I appreciate everyone's consideration, words of encouragement and support. You guys are why we keep going out there and doing what we do.
Thanks again and I look forward to seeing everyone at the September 9th event.

Just a quick note to thank all the racers that hung in and ran with us. We did everything that we could to keep the race going and safe.
Thanks to the staff at LACR and of course the ANRA Volunteer's for doing there jobs as always.
A great big thank you to all.
Will post more later. Butch

It was a good show. What happened with the B-gas cars? Did they refuse to run or did they miss the call?
I think ole Bernie is letting the track go since he's sold it! I remember the day back in 1996 when there was Nitromania at that track! Fuel altereds, Top Fuel, and Funny car. They didn't have a problem making it down the track. The announcer tried to blame it on the sand, but they've always had Motocross. Not to complain, but I'm really fond of that track and it will be a sad day when she goes.
Thanks to all you racers who showed up. It made it fun for us spectators. My Dad and I had a great time. I hope to race myself for the next one in September.

I want to say a big THANK YOU to ANRA and the LACR staff for working so hard to give us the safest racing environment they could when Mother Nature and the gravel pit conspired to work against us. 1/8 mile racing is not my favorite, but when the choice is 1/8 mile or no racing--well, you know I'm going to go with the 1/8!
That bright light aimed at the 1/8 mile finish line was great. Thank you Butch and crew.
And because of ANRA & LACR's hard work, we were able to complete the event safely. It felt so good to be able to race at LACR again!
I'm also looking forward to the September event! See ya there!

We as well had a good time even though the car was a little sick until Ron and Mike from Tea Pot Racing came to the rescue. In about 5 minutes Ron had our problem solved figuring the poppet valve was the culprit. Didn't get to run the next full pass but the burnout was the best ever and can't wait for the next time. This is a special group of ARNA people, everyone helps each other. I've been fooling around with this problem for a long time and in five minutes the ghosts maybe gone. Thanks again Ron and Mike for the help I'll square up with you the next race and for ANRA for putting on such good events. Over&out Bob Vacca
