The NERA in cooperation with the Barona 1/8th Mile Drag Strip is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual "Nostalgia Summer Nightz" race. This event will take place on Saturday, June 14th 2008 at the Barona Drag Strip, Lakeside, CA (just outside of San Diego). This race is 1/8th mile and is based on a 4.85 Indix Vehicles must been current NE class rules, and is open to any front engine, center steered Dragster, Altered, Funny Ca, Modified Roadster etc...Blown, injected, alky, nitro (No Nitrus)

A tentative TnT session may be available on Friday, June 13th, but is not part of the NERA event..NERA participants can stay overnight (N/C)..NERA Participants for the race on Saturday, June 14th will be compted track entry for car/driver and a crew of three (3). (Compliments of the Barona Drag Strip) Saturday night, after the race, too tired to drive home?? Stay overnight (N/C).

$100 per race car participation fee must be paid to NERA at the track in order to compete. You must 'pre-enter' prior to June 1st in order to take advantage of the tracks "free car/crew' entry. Payouts for Semi's, 2nd rd etc, will be made up from participation funds collected prior to the race.

Good morning Dean...It's a little late to do that for this coming June's race, but I'll work on it for the September...

If you would, see how many NE2 and 3 folks would be interested in something like that..Let me know and I'll get with the track people to try and work something out.. ;D
