New Asphalt at Auto Club Famoso Raceway. John and Blake have spent some more of their hard earned money and put asphalt down to the end of the grove, Looks real good and should make for some great pits. With the exception of a couple of races a year it should handle all the racers. If you are pitting on the new asphalt this coming weekend make sure you have some good blocks to use under your jack stands, don't want to make holes in it, only a couple of weeks old and needs some more time to set up.

That is cool! It's nice to see track owners that try and do their best for everyone involved. Now, any chance of getting those bathrooms fixed and cleaned up?

Every one that plans on comming should bring some 3/4 minimun thick blocking to put under your trailer legs and jacks just because.
Remember after the Div 7 races and all those guys with big heavy loads put holes in the last bunch of new paving we got?
I do. Take care of it, It'll Last. I hear the new tower drawings are nearing completion, and will go to the county soon.

I don't know if I'll know what to do on a level, non rocky surface. Maybe we'll just have to pit further out. The shock of being on a level surface would probably affect our tuning capabilities too.
Glad to hear that Blake and his dad are making things happen!!

We're still apart. Just got a call from Comp Products that my valves are on the way.
When are you guys going to Fontana? Give me a call and I'll see what our schedules are like.
Jason's schedule has been "modified" somewhat since Maria is fast approaching her due date in September so he may not be available.
