A big congratulations to my Estrus team mate and former ANRA NE-1 champ. Mike Cross on completing his nostalgia top fuel license passes this past weekend at Famoso in Don Danhof's beautiful full-bodied fueler.
Mike did a great job laying down 6 second passes, despite one minor incident of "premature-e-chute-a-lation" on the starting line. . . Mike would later claim that deploying the chute when staging was actually a driving tip he picked up from Lil Nate to ". . . load the motor" -- I dunno about that. . .
At any rate, the Estrus crew kept busy with 2 cars and plenty of passes. My thanks to Richard, Don, Ed, Rex and Mike for turning around the ol' Flyer for us lap after lap as well.
