It is official.. the Good Guys are OUT. I realize this thread might belong on the "other race series" page, but hear me out.
Ok, with the sound of all the broken hearts comes a woop from me. Im sorry, the Good Guys boned me enough times, and frankly I agree with Joe. Their time has come and gone. Without stepping in anyone's doggie doodoo, I'm all for other associations getting a crack at Famoso... Capiche?

If there is ANYTHING I can do to expedite our presence at Famoso, let me know. Imagine the implications. I would love nothing more than to run 9 events next year with Blake and John, Jerry and Jeremy, Papa Joe and G.O. ...
Hell, this might just prompt me to put that blower on the DADDYY!!!
Dammit I'm excited. I betcha a few others are too.

d**n good comeback, Eric.
Anyways... I know some of us liked the GG. Most of us in the NE classes felt slighted every event. If Butch can jump in there and run our gig at Famoso, and with the March Meets and F&G Finals to attend, it will be enough racing for me. I always hated the fact that Jack and Mark had Famoso off limits to other nostalgia events.
Im interested to see what this winter brings us for spring racing.

I just hate to see any organized racing series come to an end , we don't have enough of them as it is . I sure hope someone will step up and fill the void. 2 day or 3 day ANRA events.....how cool would that be?

Now you're with me Eric.
The good-guys weren't good. It was fair at best, and usually pretty crappy. We will never know if the best nostalgia drag racing event is going to happen.. unless we get our chance.
