Moved post bill 7137 Guest Re: Spence Family Racing Addition « Reply #5 Today at 8:30am » -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OK All Of You Guys and Gals, I was at the fuel altered meet, I was to run the summit race, AFTER TWO HOURS AND TWENTY MINUTES IN TECH!!!!!!!!!!! You All know my car, 1971 sherm gunn 1st gen rear motor car, Everything papa Joe tried to find wrong with the car, I said show me in the rule book, first it was my clothing, then belts then shields, then it was the general age of the car, The car runs 10.252 @127.700, always has run the number and always will. then I was told I must slow the car down to 11.500 or less to be able to run. MY Question is the car passes tech at every other NHRA track in the 11 western states, WHY AM I GIVEN SUCH A HASSLE AT BAKERSFIELD? ?? OR is it personal between the older tech inspector and I? Or is it their way of saying WE don't want you here Bill Smith 7173---- As all can tell I am not afraid to let everyone know who I am, I was the starter at LACR when Chuck left when he came back I did tech and sold all of you fuel. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks josh: this is what I have Done, NEW trans shield,New Gloves, New Flywheel shield, New jacket, have pulled the car all the way down and checked every weld. thats why I was not at the rat fink last weekend. have even got a new diaper for the engine. none of this had to be done, But it was. TO say the least I am truly hurt by the way I was treated. IF I am wrong then I will admit it here and everywhere else, If I am right I expect the same from them thanks to all for listening Bill(POP)Smith NHRA7137
